The rooms are very clean, spacious and perfectly suited for a family - giving everyone plenty of room to relax. It was also wonderfully warm and cozy, which was so nice after an afternoon of skating and being out and about in the cold🥶. The enclosed patio with ocean/mountain views is unbeatable! Walking distance to everything you could possibly need and a playground just across the street. We are looking forward to our stay in the summer. My go to hotel whenever I'm in Port Hardy. The staff/owners are authentic as to how they truly care about their customers. Looking forward to experiencing the gym and elevator when they are ready to go. Rooms are always clean and well appointed amd the views are amazing. The fact that the hotel has so much exposed Cedar is wonderful it's like walking into an aromatherapy/spa experience. What a breath of fresh air for the awesome little town of Port Hardy! Freshly and totally renovated rooms (all of them), all very modern and tastefully completed. We have stayed here while visiting family 4 times now since opening and it has been great every time. Super comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, quiet and friendly! Terrific value for your money. Located in the downtown area of Port Hardy across the street from the beach and scenic Hardy Bay, and steps away from Guido's coffee shop (the best!) and some awesome small town shopping. Honestly, this is the nicest, newest and most up to date hotel in Port Hardy and the entire North Island for that matter. We are regular visitors to the area and will be back again and again to Hotel 19. We are looking forward to visiting the soon to come Pub and Coffee\Smoothie Bar. The hotel has recently been renovated by the new, local owners and it is modern, cozy and full of west coast charm. The rooms are huge, comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the toiletries are really luxurious. The hotel is located across the street from the ocean and has amazing views. There is a sushi restaurant in the hotel and the owners plans to open a smoothie bar, gym and pub in the future. The location is also ideal for walking to dinner or the local coffee shops.
